This bill provides that a municipal budget committee may require that the governing body  provide budget recommendations in full line item detail in active spreadsheet format.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Two

AN ACT relative to budget information provided to a budget committee.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1  New Paragraph; Municipal Budget Law; Budget Committees.  Amend RSA 32:17 by inserting after paragraph II the following new paragraph:

II-a.  The budget committee may require a governing body to provide its budget recommendations in full line item detail in active spreadsheet format to the members of the budget committee.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
