STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Two

AN ACT permitting a dam to be constructed on Big Pea Porridge Pond.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Legislative Findings and Purpose. The general court finds that it is in the best interest of the littoral owners around Big Pea Porridge Pond in Madison and Conway, and the people of New Hampshire, to control the waters on Big Pea Porridge Pond and to establish a constant water level by allowing the construction of a dam at its natural outlet.

2 Dam Construction Authorized. The Pea Porridge Pond Association is specifically authorized, pursuant to RSA 482:7, to construct a dam at the natural outlet of Big Pea Porridge Pond in the town of Madison.

3  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
