STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Two

 

AN ACT permitting minors over the age of 16 to obtain a vaccination without parental consent.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  New Section; Communicable Disease; Immunization; Consent of Minor.  Amend RSA 141-C by inserting after section 20-f the following new section:

141-C:20-g  Immunization; Consent of Minor.  A minor 16 years of age or older may voluntarily consent to be vaccinated against any communicable disease for which a vaccination has been approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration, and a licensed health care provider may provide such vaccination without the consent of the minor's parent or legal guardian.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
