STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Two

 

AN ACT relative to the suspension of drivers' licenses.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

7:1  Motor Vehicles; Authority to Suspend or Revoke License.  Amend RSA 263:56, I(d) to read as follows:

(d)  Is incompetent to drive a motor vehicle by reason of physical[,] or mental [or moral] impairment[.  For purposes of this paragraph, a license suspension or revocation on the basis of moral impairment shall be predicated only upon a conviction of a crime involving moral turpitude];

7:2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect January 1, 2023.
