HOUSE CALENDAR
MEMBERS OF THE HOUSE:
SAVE THE DATE: An all-day House Continuing Education program will be held on Tuesday, December 15th, to be followed by a holiday party. Details will be provided in a future calendar.
As the deadline for retained bills is December 2nd, please be aware that committee chairmen will be scheduling executive sessions. If you are asked to write a committee report, please do so promptly. Committee reports on the retained bills will appear in the December 9th and December 30th House Calendars, and will be taken up by the House on January 6th, the first day of the 2010 session.
The 2010 bills are still being drafted with the signoff deadline 4:00 p.m. on November 12 and will be available online and in print on December 10th.
Please note that the General Court webpage now has a link to the Legislative Ethics Committee.
As we enter the flu season, it is a good time to remind ourselves to use common sense to protect our families and colleagues. Continuing the practice of staying close to home if we are sick will be beneficial for everyone.
Please Note: The Flu Clinic scheduled for November 18 has been cancelled. For more information see the notice from the State House Nurses elsewhere in this Calendar.
