Personal Biography
Master Chief Radioman (SW), USN, Ret. Served in the United States Navy from June of 1971 until May of 1993. Settled my family in Farmington, NH in August of 1991 and completed my last tour of duty in Naples, Italy and separated from the Shipyard in Portsmouth, NH. My wife Martha and I reside in Farmington, NH. My oldest daughter Kristine and her family also live in Farmington, NH. My youngest daughter Jamie and her family currently live in Everette, Washington. I have 5 grandchildren ranging in ages from 8 to 32. Two Boys and Three Girls. For the better part of the past 29 years, I have been managing a local Rental and Storage operation.
Local Government Involvement
Following attendance at my first town meeting in March of 1993, I was compelled to join a local board. Over the course of time, I have served on our towns Planning Board, Conservation Commission, Economic Development, Budget committee, School Board, Library Trustee, and Selectman. Elected as a State Representative in 2016, I am now beginning my 4th term and feel I am fulfilling my moral obligation to my community. Based on the continued support of our residents I feel I have been reasonably successful.
Miscellaneous Information:
I am not in favor legalizing marijuana (or any mind-altering substances) unless and until testing is sophisticated enough to provide accurate and on the spot determination of influence, federal law fully supports the action, and banking is standardized.
I fully support Education Freedom Accounts, and Parental Rights.
I believe the decision to terminate a pregnancy is between the woman and her physician, however, I support New Hampshire's position and think it a reasonable compromise.
I strongly support an individual right to bear arms.
