Charlie is the Executive Director of the Laconia Motorcycle Week Association, a State of NH non-profit. In 2008, Charlie co-authored the Images of America book, "Laconia Motorcycle Week", detailing the history of the world's oldest motorcycle rally. In 2008, Charlie was inducted to the Sturgis Motorcycle Hall of Fame. In 2013, Charlie was awarded the "Recreational Road Riding Organizer of the Year". Charlie is also the proprietor of the Laconia Antique Center in downtown Laconia. This 20,000 sq.ft. antique center follows Charlie's family love of antiques and history. Residents of the Lakes Region and beyond can also see Charlie on "Today in Focus", which he co-hosts with Jennifer Anderson, on Lakes Region Public Access Channel 25. Charlie was born and raised in Laconia, NH and attended Laconia High School, class of 1969. Charlie attended junior college at Bryant & Stratton in Boston and then continued his college education at the University of Colorado in Boulder, majoring in History with a minor in Education and subsequently taught in Elementary and High Schools in Colorado as well as in Boston. After attending graduate school in Massachusetts for his law degree, Charlie continued living in Boston for over 15 years while driving cab and subsequently owning his own video business in Brookline, Mass.
