It shall be the duty of the Committee on Health, Human Services and Elderly Affairs to consider all matters concerning the health of the inhabitants of the state; vital statistics; medical and related professions; the administration of welfare activities by the state government; matters relating to the special needs of our elderly citizens and such other matters as may be referred to it.
Personal Biography
Born 2/10/1946 in Rochester NY. Raised in Storrs, CT 1949- 1963. Attended Brown University 1963-1968 with one year abroad in Strasburg. Recieved a BA degree in French from Brown, Cum Laude. Married in 1966. Recieved a masters degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1970. Went to Medical School at the University of Connecticut from 1971-1975. MD residency from 1978-1982.

Joined the UN Navy in 1975 and retired in 2000 at Capatain in Medical Corps. Chief of Medicine and Director Residency Program in Internal Medicine at the National Naval Hospital in San Diego.
