It shall be the duty of the Committee on Criminal Justice and Public Safety to consider all matters relating to the criminal code; criminal justice, the Department of Corrections, sentencing, drug enforcement, bail, probation, parole, corrections facilities, DWI, domestic violence, firearms, fireworks, police and fire training, victims’ assistance and such other matters as may be referred to it.

-Boston University School of Nursing, BSN, Nursing, 1980; Employed as an RN primarily in pediatrics, mental health and child protection
-Retired, Nurse Coordinator, Foster Care Health Program, NH's Division for Children, Youth and Families
-Married to husband, John, since 1979
-Foster and adoptive parent; Six adult children (Katelyn, Heather, Lindsey, Ryan, Mackenzie, and Zachary) and six grandchildren
-Merrimack, NH resident since 1986
-Community volunteer (Special Olympics, Our Lady of Mercy Church, Wreaths Across America, Alzheimer’s Association, public schools, etc.)
-Long-term environmental and public health citizen advocate; Known as a "Water Warrior" for her service in many local, state and federal volunteer education and policy initiative related capacities since the 2016 discovery of the toxic per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) industrial contamination of her community
-First elected to the NH House (2018-2020) where she served on the Criminal Justice and Public Safety Committee
-Currently serving second term in the NH House (2022-2024)
