Personal Biography

Since I joined the United States Army at the age of 17, I have built a life in public service.

After serving in West Germany during the height of the Cold War and then on through the end of the Gulf War, I went on to work in both municipal law enforcement and state regulatory enforcement in the fields of education and medicine.

I have been a youth religious education teacher in my church and a leader in the Explorer Scouts. I have also coached my children’s basketball, football and baseball teams as well.

Due to the severity of the injuries I received while in the service, I was forced to retire several years ago and became a stay-at-home dad to my youngest, a now 14 year-old son. Though being a disabled vet has challenged me physically, I strive to continue to find new ways to stay involved and make our community better.

Miscellaneous Information:

I am an avid outdoorsman who enjoys, hunting, fishing and camping. I have a keen interest in protecting and preserving our great New Hampshire natural resources for generations to come while balancing our freedom to responsibly enjoy them now. I am a constitutional conservative and that means I believe the Constitution means exactly what it says. I believe the Constitution does not grant rights but instead protects the rights bestowed upon all free men and women by their Creator at the moment of their conception in the womb. I am a staunch protector of the 2nd Amendment. In my mind and history has shown us, that it is this uniquely American right that gives us the ability to defend all the others from tyranny and has allowed America to remain the oldest existing nation on the Earth with a constitutional government in which the people elect their own government representatives.
