Personal Biography
I have always found history and government fascinating. Having grown up in a small town outside of Boston, I was surrounded by the rich influence of our country’s founding fathers. In various school projects I became more interested in our country’s foundation and poured over such writings as the Federalist Papers.
After high school I followed my father and uncle’s footsteps enlisting in the service to protect our freedom by serving our country. I joined the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Conflict. I served with the 7th ID and the 5th Special Forces Group.
My work career has been primarily as a test engineer for medical device companies and subsequently earned a BS in Organizational Management. I’ve been a member of civic groups and non-profit organizations and am nationally certified as a rifle/pistol instructor. Having always wanted to fly, I completed my pilot certificate flying Cessna 172s. In more recent years archery has become my passion. I competed and medaled nationally, am a level 1 instructor and certified archery judge. I am currently a justice of the peace.
My wife Robin and I have been married for 43 years. We have lived in Hooksett for 26 years.
Local Government Involvement
This my first opportunity to serve the people of Hooksett as a member of the New Hampshire House.
