Personal Biography
Margaret Drye lives in Plainfield, where she and her husband Rob have raised and home-schooled their 9 children. Both Margaret and Rob have been volunteer EMTs with the local rescue squad for over 4 decades. Margaret served 13 years on the board of the Hanover Co-op Food Stores and was a long-time 4-H Club leader. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 1980 with a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and has been a nationally registered EMT since 1979.
Local Government Involvement
Margaret served as a member and chairman of the Plainfield Finance Committee, was the clerk of the Plainfield Village Water District for 15 years and is currently a Plainfield Cemetery Trustee.
Miscellaneous Information:
Margaret loves cooking and enjoys canoeing, kayaking, and cross-country skiing. She is currently the president of the Meriden Bird Club, a field editor for Taste of Home magazine, and a board member of the Eastern States Exposition (The Big E).
