AN ACT to compensate Mary Elaine Crowley for an unjustified termination and making an appropriation therefor.
ANALYSIS
This bill makes the determination that Mary Elaine Crowley was unjustly terminationed from her job as a bingo inspector. The bill makes an appropriation to compensate her for this termination and also requests that Mary Elaine Crowley be reinstated.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the year of Our Lord one thousand
nine hundred and eighty-nine
AN ACT
to compensate Mary Elaine Crowley for an
unjustified termination and making an appropriation therefor.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Represen-
tatives in General Court convened:
1 Statement of Intent. The general court recognizes that Mary Elaine Crowley, former bingo inspector in the division of enforcement, department of safety, was fired unjustly 3 years ago. Therefore, the general court hereby seeks to compensate Mary Elaine Crowley for her back pay and fringe benefits, including 18 percent interest, for 3 years. The general court also requests that Mary Elaine Crowley be reinstated in her job as a bingo inspector.
2 Appropriation. The sum of $89,491 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1990, is hereby appropriated for the purpose of compensating Mary Elaine Crowley pursuant to section 1 of this act. The governor is authorized to draw his warrant for said sum out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated.
3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect July 1, 1989.
