AN ACT relative to removal of town officers.

This bill repeals the law authorizing selectmen to remove a collector of taxes, town clerk, or treasurer who the selectmen judge to be insane or otherwise incapacitated.

STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Nine
AN ACT relative to removal of town officers.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Repeal. RSA 41:12, relative to removal of collector, clerk, or treasurer, is repealed.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
