STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Ten

AN ACT requiring a report of payments to (ACORN) the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Section; State Treasurer and Accounts; ACORN Funding Report. Amend RSA 6 by inserting after section 17 the following new section:

6:17-a ACORN Funding Report. By November 1 of each year, the treasurer shall prepare a report of all payments made by the state to the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), or any of its affiliates, during the prior fiscal year. The report shall be submitted to the senate president, the speaker of the house of representatives, the governor, and the state library.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
