STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Ten

AN ACT relative to the system benefits charge.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1:1 Electric Utility System Benefits Charge. Notwithstanding RSA 374-F:4, VIII(c), from the effective date of this section, through June 30, 2011, the public utilities commission shall, without increasing the aggregate amount of the system benefits charge, increase the portion of such charge used to fund the electric assistance program for low-income customers as necessary to adequately fund the program, up to 1.8 mills per kilowatt hour.

1:2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
