STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twelve

AN ACT relative to the use of superior court facilities in Nashua.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Terms of the Superior Court; Time; Place. RSA 496:1, I(f) is repealed and reenacted to read as follows:

(f) For the county of Hillsborough: At Manchester. Court facilities shall be maintained at Nashua for the trial of offenses committed in the former southern judicial district of the county of Hillsborough prior to the effective date of this subparagraph and for the hearing and trial of such other matters as the court may schedule in Nashua.

2 Applicability. Section 1 of this act shall take effect on the date set forth in a certification of effective date delivered by the supreme court to the secretary of state. The certification shall be delivered no less than 30 days before the effective date. Copies of the certification shall be distributed to the governor, the attorney general, the commissioner of administrative services, the speaker of the house of representatives, the senate president, the director of the office of legislative services, the county attorney for the county of Hillsborough, and the New Hampshire Bar Association.

3 Effective Date.

I. Section 1 of this act shall take effect as provided in section 2 of this act.

II. The remainder of this act shall take effect upon its passage.
