STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Thirteen

AN ACT relative to training for new executive branch commissioners.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Section; New Commissioners’ Orientation. Amend RSA 4 by inserting after section 5 the following new section:

4:5-a New Commissioners’ Orientation. The office of the governor shall provide orientation and training materials to each new executive branch commissioner. The training shall include, but not be limited to, a review of relevant statutes and administrative rules, a summary of the administrative rulemaking process, budgetary responsibilities, the role of the fiscal committee, and an overview of the commissioners’ work with the governor and executive council and the legislature.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
