STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fourteen
AN ACT relative to insurance pools.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Paragraph; Pooled Risk Management Programs; Membership. Amend RSA 5-B:3 by inserting after paragraph III the following new paragraph:
IV. A political subdivision shall not be required to join any association or organization in order to purchase products or services from a pooled risk management program.
2 New Paragraph; Pooled Risk Management Programs; Standards of Organization and Operation. Amend RSA 5-B:5 by inserting after paragraph II the following new paragraph:
III. No pooled risk management program shall have exclusivity with any insurance carrier doing business in this state.
3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
