In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fourteen
AN ACT transferring a sum from the prepaid fish and game license account.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 Fish and Game; Prepaid Fish and Game License Fund. Notwithstanding the requirements of RSA 214:9-c and RSA 214:9-cc, the state treasurer shall transfer from the prepaid fish and game license fund to the fish and game fund an amount up to $500,000 if needed to cover any shortfall in the fish and game fund, as determined by the executive director, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2015.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect July 1, 2014.

SB 287-FN - FISCAL NOTE
AN ACT transferring a sum from the prepaid fish and game license account.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The Office of Legislative Budget Assistant states this bill, as introduced, may increase state restricted expenditures by an indeterminable amount in FY 2015. There will be no impact on state revenue, or county and local revenues or expenditures.
METHODOLOGY:
The Office of Legislative Budget Assistant states this bill allows for up to $500,000 to be transferred from the Prepaid Fish and Game License Fund to the Fish and Game Fund if necessary, as deemed necessary by the Executive Director of the Fish and Game Department to cover any budgetary shortfall, in FY 2015. Under current law, if the Fish and Game Fund were to have insufficient available funds to meet appropriation amounts established in the state operating budget, the Department would be required to reduce its expenditures not to exceed available funding. To the extent this bill allows for the transfer of up to $500,000 from the Prepaid Fish and Game License Fund to cover Fish and Game Fund expenditures with insufficient sources of funding, state restricted expenditures may increase up to $500,000 in FY 2015.
