STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fourteen

AN ACT prohibiting insurance companies from discriminating regarding reimbursements based on forms of licensure issued by the board of medicine.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 New Section; Forms of Licensure Issued to Physicians; Reimbursement Discrimination Prohibited. Amend RSA 402 by inserting after section 79 the following new section:

402:79-a Reimbursement Discrimination Based on Forms of Licensure Issued to Physicians. Insurers shall not discriminate in reimbursement rates based on the form of licensure issued to physicians by the board of medicine, established in RSA 329:2.

2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
