STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fifteen
AN ACT establishing an industrial heritage program within the department of cultural resources.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 New Paragraph; Division of Historical Resources; Historic Preservation Functions; Industrial Heritage Program and Preservation of Grist Mill Complex in Hampton. Amend RSA 227-C:4 by inserting after paragraph XXI the following new paragraph:
XXII. Establishing an industrial heritage program, which shall be responsible for the preservation and restoration of the historic 1686 grist mill complex in Hampton.
2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.

AN ACT establishing an industrial heritage program within the department of cultural resources.
FISCAL IMPACT:
The Department of Cultural Resources states this bill, as introduced, will increase state general fund expenditures by an indeterminable amount in FY 2016 and each year thereafter. There will be no impact on county and local expenditures, or state, county, and local revenue.
METHODOLOGY:
The Department of Cultural resources states this bill establishes an Industrial Heritage Program within the Department. The Department indicates this bill pays for a Historic Structures Report, restoration costs, and additional ongoing expenses for the Deacon Tuck Gristmill in the Town of Hampton. However, the Department of Cultural Resources also indicates future restoration and public programming costs for the Deacon Tuck Gristmill are indeterminable. Further, the Department states this bill adds a new Historian position (LG 24, Step 1) to manage the Deacon Tuck Gristmill and create an Industrial Heritage program.
