STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Fifteen

AN ACT naming the lobby of the legislative office building after former speaker of the house George Roberts.

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

1 Legislative Findings. George Roberts served 14 years in the New Hampshire house of representatives including being elected as speaker of the house from 1975 through 1980. He was actively involved in the National Conference of State Legislatures from its creation in 1975 and served as its president in 1979-80. Among his many legislative initiatives include the renovation of the Old Post Office as the Legislative Office Building of today. Therefore in recognition of his many contributions to the citizens of New Hampshire and the New Hampshire legislature, the general court hereby names the lobby of the Legislative Office Building the George Roberts Lobby.

2 Legislative Office Building; George Roberts Lobby. The lobby of the Legislative Office Building is hereby named for former speaker of the house, the Honorable George Roberts.

3 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
