The New Hampshire Forum on Higher Education and Public Service Company of New Hampshire cordially invite legislators to join Governor - Elect Craig Benson (invited), business leaders and college and university presidents from around New Hampshire to a breakfast on Thursday, January 23, 2003 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the NH Historical Society, Tuck Library, 30 Park Street, Concord.
During the breakfast, The 2003 Higher Education Economic Impact Report titled Higher Education: The Cornerstone to New Hampshire's Prosperity will be presented and discussed.
The report demonstrates how the needs of business, higher education and government are increasingly interconnected and outlines the importance of partnerships. In 2002 alone, higher education generated more than $3 billion in our economy, contributed to the creation of 4,418 new jobs and increased investments in building construction and research and development.
