STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty One

 

AN ACT declaring February 5, 2021 as Apollo 14 Day.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  Apollo 14 Day.  The governor shall issue a proclamation declaring February 5, 2021 as Apollo 14 Day in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 14 lunar landing which made Derry native Alan B. Shepard, Jr. the 5th person to walk on the Moon.  The proclamation shall urge citizens of the state to commemorate the day with appropriate activities.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect upon its passage.
