Personal Biography
I lived twenty-two years in New Hampshire, most recently practicing primary care and addiction medicine to the homeless and less resourced in the Southern NH area, Mobile Crisis medical lead, and QA Medical Lead to Harbor Homes until Summer2022. Previously, I was a certified Chef, GM, F&B Director, and marketing consultant, formerly retiring after 23 years in 2006. Our family is deeply involved in community events and behind the scenes supports for the most vulnerable, but we also engage in hiking, mountain climbing, water sports, winter sports (all), and the fine arts locally. We have three children, two adults and one still in public schools.
Local Government Involvement
Represented the USA, OH as Rotary Exchange Student to Australia in 1983-4, as the first group to do so from this nation, age 15. None prior to running for office, but did have work in committees for a FEDERALLY subsidized clinic, which has lots of protocols, rules, and criteria. I was always asked to be a leader in these settings due to being collaborative & respectful.
Miscellaneous Information:
Prior training in Descalation techniques, Behavioral emergencies, and Conflict resolution/negotiation, Peacekeepers. I am typically brought into what is referred to as a Code Grey (aka behavioral emergency). This makes me a good person to shove between two very strong personas.
Good with fundraising- networking
