Committee Function:It shall be the duty of the Committee on Environment and Agriculture to consider all matters concerning agricultural and farm problems of the state, physical land use including current use, the various agricultural organizations, the protection of the state's environment from forms of pollution other than air or water pollution, waste management issues, and such other matters as may be referred to it.
Personal Biography
I have lived in Hudson and the surrounding area since 1981. Throughout the years I have been heavily involved in my community and performed community service in various capacities
including the Nashua Emblem Club #170, Opportunity Networks Nashua, Nashaway Chapter of NH Audubon, Nashua Soup Kitchen, Touchstone Equine Therapy Programs.
I have a strong interest in agriculture and working with nature/animals. I worked at Bensons Animal Park until it closed. I then went on to work in the veterinary field where I managed Amherst Animal Hospital for 21 years. After leaving the veterinary hospital I worked at Bedford
High School as a science aide for 8 years until retirement.
Currently, I am an amateur farmer managing about 2 acres. I have 15 egg-laying hens, raise meat chickens and care for 80 blueberry bushes. I enjoy my large vegetable and flower gardens. I also fish and hunt throughout NH.
