STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Three

 

AN ACT relative to membership of the advisory committee on the education of students with disabilities.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  Correctional Officers on Advisory Committee on the Education of Students with Disabilities.  Amend RSA 186-C:3-b, II(q) to read as follows:

(q)  One representative from the department of corrections, [and one representative from a county correctional facility, both of whom are] who is are responsible for administering the provision of special education or special education and related services, appointed by the governor.

2  New Paragraph; Healthcare Provider on Advisory Committee on the Education of Students with Disabilities.  Amend RSA 186-C:3-b, II by inserting after paragraph (s) the following new paragraph:

(t)  One local healthcare provider, who shall specialize in working with children such as a pediatrician, appointed by the governor.

3  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
