NOTE:
The
Department of Environmental Services, Division of Water Resources, was
effective 1-2-87 pursuant to 1986, 202:2, II. All effective rules of the Water
Resources Board were transferred at that time to the Department of
Environmental Services. See filing index of the Water Resources Board for prior
filings in this area.
The
Division of Water Resources was abolished effective 7-1-96 pursuant to 1996,
228:6, but the rules of the Division remained in effect as rules of the
Department of Environmental Services pursuant to 1996, 228:112, I, effective
7-1-96.
1996,
228:1, effective 7-1-96, states that it is the intent of the legislature to
integrate the former Division of Water Resources with the former Division of
Water Supply and Pollution Control which was renamed the Division of Water. The
Department assigned the programs in the rules Env-Wr
to the Division of Water.
