PART Sw 701 DEFINITIONS
Sw 701.01 Definitions. The following definitions shall apply:
(a) “Sales rep”
means an individual in the employ of the New Hampshire lottery commission working as a lottery sales
representative as that job is described by the State of New Hampshire division
of personnel in the department of administrative services;
(b) “Incentive”
means an amount of compensation over and above a sales representative’s salary,
which is awarded based upon sales performance as set forth herein;
(c) “Sales” means as
settled instant game tickets less returns and adjustments; and
(d) “Sales goal”
means an amount of sales established at the first regular

PART Sw 702 INCENTIVE PROGRAM
Sw 702.01 Incentive
Employee Recognition Program.
(a) The program
shall include all instant ticket
game sales for all retailers in an employee’s area of account responsibility territory.
If the percentage of sales in the employee’s area of account responsibility
equals or exceeds the established sales goals, the employee shall receive a defined incentive award,
providing the employee meets all other eligibility requirements as specified in
this chapter.
(b) The measuring
dates shall be a comparison of the prior year’s fiscal quarter, with the same
current period, and the difference in instant ticket sales, as those games are
defined in Sw 1000. If that difference
meets or exceeds either of the sales goals, the sales rep shall be entitled to
the incentive.

PART Sw 703 SALES GOALS
Sw 703.01 Quarterly
Incentive. Quarterly incentives
shall be awarded as follows:
(a) A sales rep
whose quarterly instant ticket sales exceed the same quarter from the prior
fiscal year, by the established sales goal or greater, shall receive $1000.00;
(b) A sales rep
whose quarterly instant ticket sales exceed the same quarter from the prior
fiscal year’s sales, by the sales goal and an additional 60% or greater, shall
receive $2000.00; and
(c) A sales rep
shall be eligible to receive 4 quarterly incentives per fiscal year.

Sw 703.02 Yearly
Incentive. Yearly incentives shall
be awarded as follows:
(a) A sales rep
whose fiscal year instant ticket sales exceed the prior fiscal year’s sales, by
the established sales goal, shall receive $2000.00;
(b) A sales rep
whose fiscal year instant ticket sales exceed the prior fiscal year’s sales, by
the established sales goal and an additional 60% or greater, shall receive
$4000.00; and
(c) The yearly
incentive shall be in addition to the quarterly incentive.

PART Sw 704 ELIGIBILITY
Sw 704.01 Eligibility. In order to be considered eligible, a sales
rep shall have completed his or her probationary period prior to the beginning
of the quarter.

PART Sw 705 TERMS
Sw 705.01 Terms
and Conditions. Terms and conditions
shall be determined as follows:
(a) Redistricting of
a sales rep territory shall be made effective only at the beginning of the
quarter;
(b) The incentive
shall not be adjusted due to market conditions, nor shall any pro ration of the
incentive be awarded. Either the
applicable sales goal shall be met or no incentive shall be awarded;
(c) The incentive
plan shall not be adjusted for chain business promotional activity, and ticket
sales which were discounted shall be credited at the discounted amount;
(d) Sales reps who
transfer to another district or position shall be evaluated on the assigned
retailer base they have spent the majority of the quarter assigned to;
(e) Sales reps whose
area of account responsibility was not represented for 6 weeks or more shall
not be eligible to receive the lottery sales incentive award for that quarter;
(f) Sales reps who
depart from an eligible lottery classification before the end of a quarter
shall not be eligible for that quarter’s incentive; and
(g) Sales reps who
have received disciplinary action within the quarter, which results in a
written warning or more severe disciplinary action, shall not be eligible to
receive the incentive.
