STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Four

 

AN ACT relative to the Northern Border Alliance Program fund.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  Northern Border Alliance Fund.  Amend RSA 21-P:70, I to read as follows:

I. There is hereby established the northern border alliance fund within the department of safety for the purpose of make grants available to other state, county, and local law enforcement agencies, and also provide funding for the division of state police to reduce the instance of crimes and illicit activity in close proximity to the Canadian border. All moneys in the fund shall be [nonlapsing and continually] appropriated to the department of safety. Unexpended funds shall lapse at the end of each biennium.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
