STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE

 

In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty Four

 

AN ACT relative to procedures during a state of emergency.

 

Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:

 

1  State of Emergency.  Amend RSA 21-P:45 to read as follows:

21-P:45 Enforcement.  It shall be the duty of every organization for emergency management established under this subdivision and of the officers of such organization to execute and enforce such orders, rules, and regulations as may be made by the governor under authority of this subdivision or RSA 4:45. Notwithstanding the above, no state employee, department, or agency shall cooperate with the executive branch regarding the suspension of civil liberties or the United States Constitution or the New Hampshire constitution, in accordance with RSA 4:45, III-a.

2  Effective Date.  This act shall take effect 60 days after its passage.
